Building a Career in AccountingAt Freed Maxick & Battaglia, there is a clear career-path to follow, which is has a lot to do with our organizational structure. Directors of the Firm are accessible and personally involved with clients and employees alike. The director-to-staff ratio is significantly less than the national firms who are structured to work primarily through a less seasoned middle management group. Mentoring relationships with our Firm’s directors are part of our commitment to all employees. Employees work with, and learn from, our talented group of directors who were born and raised in Western New York, and who have decades of experience and a passion for the business. When employees are promoted to supervisor or manager, they’ve developed an area of specialization, such as a service niche or particular industry expertise. They may have been exposed to a variety of businesses in manufacturing, healthcare or international commerce. An employee who becomes a director of the Firm must have demonstrated the ability to be a trusted business advisor, with high-levels of professionalism, ethics and sound technical expertise. Additionally, they have proven themselves to be adept at sales & marketing and the career development of the staff. Careers Homepage |
