At Freed Maxick we pride ourselves in our commitment to bettering the communities we serve and our involvement in various organizations that strive to make where we live a better place. It’s important to our Firm to give back whenever and wherever we can.

That stands true for me personally, as well. Back in 2009 I was approached by a colleague and friend to become involved with the board of Gateway-Longview; a child and family service organization that provides care, counseling, and support to countless children and families in western and central New York. What began as a professional commitment, volunteering to provide financial oversight, has turned into an unwavering admiration for those who impact our youth every day – volunteers, dedicated staff, and selfless supporters and donors.

After my time on the board, I am truly honored and privileged to announce that I will now begin a two-year term as the chair of the Board of Directors for the agency. It is an exciting time for the agency, as they celebrate 125 years in service to children and families throughout the region.
