Larry Hessney, CIA, CISA is Director of Freed Maxick & Battaglia's Enterprise Risk Management Group and is also a managing director in the enterprise-wide risk assessment group of the RSM McGladrey office in Western New York, where he is actively involved in several Sarbanes-Oxley implementation projects.  Larry is a hands-on, performance-driven leader and change agent with over 20 years experience delivering results in managing SOX compliance projects, large/complex information technology implementations, international supply chains and manufacturing operations, and strategic partnerships.  He has 10 years experience in public accounting and consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Arthur Andersen and Freed Maxick in addition to 15 years as a manager in manufacturing and high tech companies including Kodak, Welch Ally and LPA Software.  Larry helps organizations drive and sustain positive change by applying his expertise in business process excellence and compliance (including SOX, Six Sigma, ISO and Lean Enterprise), operations and supply chain, information technology (IT) and change management to his clients' most critical business issues and opportunities. Larry has experience across several industries including: capital equipment, medical device/healthcare, consumer packaged goods & retail, energy/utilities, governmental, financial institutions and professional services. Larry has optimized nearly every major business process within and between enterprises and has considerable experience working with major packaged software applications.
