Laura Forthman, CPA is a director with Freed Maxick & Battaglia, CPAs, PC in the Rochester Practice Unit.  Formally a partner in Bernardi and Russo, CPAs, she has been in practice for over 20 years.  She concentrates her practice in business taxation and the business consulting areas.  Laura counsels clients on tax strategies, planning, and compliance and audit issues, and has significant experience in U.S. and state tax matters.  In addition, she has experience in business valuation and litigation matters.

Laura graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
