Lloyd Arakelian, CPA, FHFMA is a Director of Freed Maxick and RSM McGladrey's Healthcare Consulting practice. He specializes in delivering financial, operational and reimbursement services to hospitals, physician practices, integrated delivery systems, home health agencies and HMOs. 

He joined the firm in June of 2009, and brings over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He has a unique blend of experiences as both a hospital finance executive as well as a client service professional. Prior to joining Freed Maxick, Mr. Arakelian practiced at a “Big Four” international professional services firm for over 15 years, where he was an Executive Director since 2004.

Mr. Arakelian is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. In addition to holding his CPA license, Mr. Arakelian has earned his Fellow of Healthcare Financial Management Association, the highest certification that can be attained from the association.
