Freed Maxick Expands Healthcare Practice

Freed Maxick & Battaglia, CPAs, PC announces that two healthcare professionals have joined the Firm's Healthcare Assurance and Consulting Services Practice. Carol Hamel has joined the Firm as a Manager and will be based in Syracuse, NY. Colleen Nettina, CPA has joined the Firm as Consultant and will be based in the Firm's Buffalo office. The additions will serve to boost Freed Maxick's Healthcare Assurance and Consulting Services Practice, the Firm's largest and fastest growing enterprise with 30 full-time client service professionals serving 260 healthcare clients across Western, Central and Upstate New York. Sign of the Times: Freed Maxick launches Digital Twitter Billboard 1/01/10

Freed Maxick & Battaglia has contracted with Lamar Outdoor to launch a digital "Twitter" billboard in the City of Buffalo. The billboard is located on the inbound side of the I-190, near the Smith Street Exit. Updates to the Firm's Twitter page (twitter.com/FreedMaxickCPAs) will appear simultaneously on the Billboard. The firm plans to use the billboard as a means to offer its high-value, issue-oriented content to the business commuters of Buffalo. Freed Maxick is an accounting industry leader in leveraging social media and is likely the 1st accounting firm in the U.S. to use a digital Twitter Billboard.
