Amy A. Thompson, CPA, is a Principal in Freed Maxick's Tax Practice. Amy is responsible for the overall planning, supervision and completion of client federal and state corporate income tax returns and accounting for income taxes. She specializes in providing multinational public and private enterprises with ASC 740 support, tax compliance consulting, and merger and acquisition assistance.
Amy is well versed with corporate tax and has a great deal of knowledge and experience with consolidated and multi-state returns. Prior to joining the Firm, she was the Corporate Tax Manager at First Niagara Financial Group, Inc., the publicly traded holding company of First Niagara Bank, and a Tax Manager in the Buffalo office of Deloitte Tax LLP.
