
Henry G. Koziol, Jr., CPA, CFP™ joined Freed Maxick in 1983 after graduating from Canisius College. He served as Managing Director and Chairman of the Board from 2017-2023. Henry also works closely with the firm’s CTO and CRO in developing the firm’s technology, cybersecurity and disaster recovery plans.
During his 35-year career with the firm, Henry’s responsibilities have included overall coordination of compliance and consulting services to private equity and privately held companies. These services include personal and corporate cash flow improvement, estate tax planning, transaction advisory services, including deal structure and due diligence support. Henry’s areas of expertise include manufacturing, wholesaling and distribution, and construction.
Henry has an active role in supporting the firm's strategic operations, assisting with special projects and transactions to support the overall growth.
