Rachel M. Ashcroft, CPA is a Principal in Freed Maxick’s Auditing and Accounting Practice. Rachel has over 15 years of public accounting experience and has concentrated in the healthcare, not-for-profit and employee benefit plan service areas.
Rachel is responsible for the overall planning, organization, supervision, and completion of audit engagements. She has prepared financial statements in various industry formats, including consolidations, and prepared audit findings for presentation to management and governance. Rachel is involved in the Firm's human capital and development initiatives and serves as mentor within the Firm's E.A.R.N. program which focuses on Empowering employees to Achieve success, be Responsive to change and Network to connect. The E.A.R.N. program was developed to provide mentoring and development opportunities for employees both personally and professionally. Lastly, Rachel is also involved in supervising and training staff, and has conducted numerous trainings in accounting and auditing over the course of her career.
