Local Buffalo and Rochester nonprofit and charity organizations have been in the spotlight recently, featured on Freed’s digital Facebook billboards located on heavy commuter thoroughfares I-33 and I-490. The eclectic mix of groups have included the Buffalo Niagara 360 young professionals program, Gilda’s Club WNY, Jewish Repertory Theatre of Western New York, Gateway-Longview, Catholic Charities of Buffalo, Buffalo Urban League, Rochester Women’s Network, Roc City Roller Derby, Sample Soap, Joan A. Male Family Support Center, American Diabetes Association, Habitat for Humanity Buffalo, the Buffalo Zoo, Meals on Wheels for WNY and the SPCA Serving Erie County among others.

Many of the featured groups are even making field trips to get out and see the billboard in person! Featured below are photos from Catholic Charities of Buffalo and Sample Soap (www.samplesoap.org), a Rochester area nonprofit organization, posing in front of their billboards. The campaign has touched an emotional chord within the community and the feedback, gratitude and interaction has been tremendous!
