Award season is here and Freed Maxick has been honored with nominations for several national and local awards!
Accounting Today released their annual list of top accounting firms across the country and Freed Maxick has been named on their “Top 100 Firms of 2011” report. The firm is positioned at number 81, up from last year’s 2010 position on the list at number 83.
Also, for the third year in a row, our firm has been chosen as a finalist for Business First’s best Places to Work awards, honoring the people and companies that are The Best Places to Work in Western New York. Awards will be presented March 22 at the Buffalo Convention Center. Congratulations for helping to build positive corporate culture and make this one of the region’s best places to work!
Not to mention, innovation is happening in Buffalo Niagara every day. By striving to do things smarter, faster, better, local companies are not just ensuring profits, but they’re securing jobs for their employees and helping industry sectors develop and thrive in our region. Freed Maxick has been chosen as a finalist in the professional services target industry category for the 2011 Innovate awards, representing the Western New York business community and all of those companies that are pushing the horizons of innovation and driving our economy forward. The awards will be presented Tuesday May 3, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo.
Last but not least, we have also been chosen as a finalist for Buffalo Niagara’s very first award for social media! The BETA awards are a special event hosted by InfoTech Niagara, honoring the best and brightest in WNY IT. Freed Maxick has been nominated as a finalist for the first-ever local award in social media, going up against other local online innovators. Over 450 technology executives will be present at this event, held March 23 at the Buffalo Convention Center!
