Did you know that innovation is happening in the Buffalo Niagara region every day? It is! And because of it, the Buffalo Niagara Partnership has been recognizing innovative companies for the last few years with their “Innovate” awards. First at the Buffalo Convention Center, last year at the Niagara Falls Convention center, and this year at the downtown Hyatt Regency Buffalo, the awards showcases local employers and individuals that are doing great things, overseeing unique tactics, new ideas and experiencing noteworthy successes.
As the Partnership states, innovation, “it’s mandatory for business survival, and to keep our regional economy moving forward. By striving to do things smarter, faster, better, local companies aren’t just ensuring profits, but they’re securing jobs for their employees and helping industry sectors develop and thrive in our region. That’s worth celebrating.” It sure is, and Freed Maxick was proud to be nominated for these unique awards, and also chosen as a finalist in the “professional services” category.

We would like to extend our congratulations to all of the nominees and finalists. Keep on doing a great job and we look forward to hearing more good news next year!
