Supporting our Western New York region is a very important part of Freed Maxick’s corporate culture. We love knowing that our employees are active and engaged in the community and enjoy hearing about all of the volunteer projects and community activties they are constantly up to. It’s all about work/life balance here, so supporting your community is key to a great place to live, and also your career… activity like that gets you out and about, meeting new people, which is great for networking!

One of the organizations that we love to support and care a lot about is Melissa’s Living Legacy and their project Teens Living with Cancer. The Teens Living with Cancer (TLC) website is the most comprehensive and authoritative web-based resource for teens with cancer, providing an array of resources to support teens, their families and friends. The organization does great things and we love hearing about all they are up to and how we as a local Rochester firm can help them.

In early July we heard some awesome news from the organization and we want to help out. TLC and Melissa’s Living Legacy have made it to the Region Finals in the 4th Annual Classy Awards for their work on the Armstrong vs Eggers LIVESTRONG fundraiser! They need your help, so support TLC and vote Melissa’s Living Legacy for “Most Creative Fundraiser.”
