Freed Maxick is very proud to support Junior Achievement of WNY, a wonderful organization that works to empower young people to own their economic success. Through volunteer-delivered K-12 programs, the organization foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and uses experiential learning to inspire kids to meet their goals and dreams. The organization does great things for the children in our community, but can really use your help.
If you are interested in becoming a first-time Junior Achievement (JA) volunteer, the organization makes it easy for you to get started and join the 600 volunteers who participate each year. The first step is to attend a one-hour training for new volunteers. Trainings are scheduled biweekly at different times for convenience and all trainings take place at the JA office, located downtown at 275 Oak Street, Buffalo, NY 14203.

From there, JA will send you their current volunteer needs and more information! It’s a great way to give back to your community and work with young people who deserve empowerment.
