Freed Maxick is known as a Top 100 Accounting Firm in the U.S. but did you know we have an Asset Based Lending group as well?
Freed Maxick ABL (Asset Based Lending) Services was established in 1996 in recognition of the growing outsourcing requirements of the commercial finance industry. Since that time, Freed Maxick ABL Services has become the largest provider of field examination services in North America. The unit has over 30 full-time personnel and performs over 1300 field examinations annually.
Our objective is to assist the commercial finance industry in evaluating the integrity of their customers’ collateral by performing pre-loan surveys and rotational collateral monitoring field examinations. We provide these services to financial institutions granting loans, increasing credit lines or reducing loan loss exposure based on our field examination report results. We also help provide direction for an orderly liquidation of operations.

Field Examiners perform accounting and review procedures as they pertain to the Asset Based Lending (ABL) assignment under the direction of Senior Field Examiners, Field Examination Supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers and/or Directors. They will plan, direct, control and fulfill the assignment requirements of the Lender or as directed by the Firm. They may also be required to manage the assignment and be responsible for the accompanying personnel.
Freed Maxick ABL provides multiple opportunities for continuing education and advancement.
