JOIN A LEADER!

You’ll be part of one of WNY’s largest public accounting firms and a Top 100 CPA Firm in the U.S.

Freed Maxick ABL (Asset Based Lending) Services was established in 1996 in recognition of the growing outsourcing requirements of the commercial finance industry. Since that time, Freed Maxick ABL Services has become the largest provider of field examination services in North America. With over 30 full-time personnel, we perform 1300 to 1500 field examinations annually.

Our objective is to assist the commercial finance industry in evaluating the integrity of their customers’ collateral by performing pre-loan surveys and rotational collateral monitoring field examinations. We provide these services to financial institutions granting loans, increasing credit lines or reducing loan loss exposure based on our field examination report results. We also help provide direction for an orderly liquidation of operations.

LEARN FROM THE BEST!

We provide a complete onboarding experience which includes orientation and training to jump start your career.

Your Performance Advisor will meet with you regularly to make sure all of your questions are answered. You’ll be assigned a “buddy” to help you with those first few days and weeks when you’re transitioning to your new role.

You’ll perform accounting and review procedures as part of the ABL assignment, under the direction of our talented Senior Field Examiners, Supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers, Principals and Directors. Expect to have regular contact with our Directors.

BE PART OF A TEAM!

You’ll operate as part of a successful team, working on challenging engagements with clients in a wide variety of industries: healthcare, manufacturing, agribusiness, distribution, retail, financial services, real estate, private equity, etc. You can become a specialist in the area that appeals to you.

KEEP YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS SHARP!

In addition to the necessary continuing professional education (CPE) to maintain an active CPA license, and meet the requirements of the AICPA, we provide soft skill training as part of our EARN initiative.  EARN (Employee Advancement & Retention Network) was created to determine and meet the needs of our diverse employee base.  We are not a “once size fits all” Firm.

Employees are offered the opportunity to develop professionally through seminars and local, regional and self-study courses. In-house training programs are given regularly which cover a wide range of subjects, including those applicable to a specific industry or discipline.  Guest speakers provide a fresh perspective.

Freed Maxick also has a full-time Manager of Learning & Development who will meet with you regularly to make sure you are receiving the training you want and need.

GROW PERSONALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY!

Our full-time Career Coach will not only provide strategies to you for passing the CPA exam or obtaining another certification, but also help guide you along your individual career path. You will receive one-on-one mentoring not just from our Career Coach but from your Performance Advisor as well. These resources are dedicated to you, your happiness and your advancement with Freed Maxick ABL Services.

We have a great bonus policy to help you pass the CPA exam and complete other certifications too!

RECEIVE FEEDBACK!

Regular evaluations and performance conversations provide you with the candid feedback you need to succeed. We’ll cover your technical skills, teamwork, client focus, productivity and dependability. Areas for development will be discussed and together, appropriate plans for focus will be determined. We know that everyone learns differently, so your individual goals are established just for you. Clear direction and guidance will help you advance to the next level!

GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY!

One of our core competencies is giving back to the communities where we live and work. You’ll have regular opportunities to serve, whether it’s volunteering or participating as a group or Board member for non-profit organizations.

HAVE FUN!

There are countless opportunities to meet people at our numerous Firm-sponsored events, like an annual holiday party, gatherings specifically for new hires, a family summer bash, assorted races and walks to benefit charity, etc.  Our unique sociable culture means we work hard but play hard too.
