Healthcare Accounting Financial Consultants


We have immediate remote or hybrid opportunities for Healthcare Accounting Financial Consultants at the senior associate and manager levels in our Healthcare Consulting Practice.  

 

The Healthcare Accounting Financial Consultant provides analysis and reporting on multiple consulting projects in the areas of finance and operations.

 

About the Job

  • Utilize a comprehensive approach to identify, assess, and analyze business challenges within the finance and accounting organization
  • Play a key role in identifying and assessing business processes within the finance and accounting organization. This involves conducting thorough reviews of clients’ current close documentation, defining future state processes, and advising on best practices for close management
  • Leverage knowledge of business processes such as Treasury management, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Financial Close to contribute to the optimization of client operations
  • Assist in identifying integrations and efficiencies between the client’s accounting systems and other tools, streamlining processes, and maximizing the effectiveness of their financial operations
  • Be proactive in addressing client concerns, using your knowledge of accounting and finance to help build strong relationships and solve problems effectively

 

What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; Master’s degree is preferred
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • 3-6 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Healthcare experience a plus but not required
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to stay ahead of changes in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel to client locations – approximately 25%. (Required for hybrid and remote candidates)

Senior Associate – The compensation for these roles vary based on experience and is in the ranges of $75K to $85K for senior associates. Candidates are eligible for senior/supervisor performance bonus programs. These salary ranges are for applicants based in Western New York. Consideration will be given to applicants outside of our geographic area with appropriate ranges provided, based on location.

Manager – The compensation for these roles vary based on experience and is in the range $90k-$100k for managers. Candidates are eligible for manager incentive programs. These salary ranges are for applicants based in Western New York. Consideration will be given to applicants outside of our geographic area with appropriate ranges provided, based on location.
